City Relaxes Park Restrictions

The City has reopened the tennis, pickleball, and bocce ball courts in city parks, and the disc golf course in Brengle Terrace Park. Public health-related measures remain in effect.

Business Support Discussion, June 2 Workshop

During their regularly scheduled workshop at 2 pm on June 2 (by teleconference), the City Council will discuss a draft ordinance that temporarily relaxes signage for businesses, and outdoor seating for restaurants and microbreweries.

Hair Salons, Barbershops, Houses of Worship Can Open

Houses of worship, hair salons and barbershops can all resume services, but must implement a variety of safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the County Health officials report. The State has not yet permitted nail salons to reopen.

Traffic Expected for Graduation Events

Traffic control will be in place June 1 - 3 for Vista graduation and promotion school events.  A list of start times and school locations is available online. Congratulations to each of the students on their achievements!
