Free Unfilled Sandbags Available to Help Protect Property

The Public Works Yard is currently closed to the public due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 crisis. Sandbags are not available at this time.

 

Rain storms are in the forecast for this week. This is a good time to pick up free unfilled sandbags to help you protect your property. Keeping a few sandbags ready may help ward off water if it approaches your home during the forecasted storms. Up to 10 unfilled empty sand bags are available at the Public Works building (1165 E. Taylor Street) during normal business hours Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 4 pm and on alternate Fridays from 6:30 am to 3 pm.
