City Encourages Residents to Take County's Regional Alliance for Fair Housing Housing Discrimination Survey
The City of Vista is encouraging residents to take the San Diego Regional Alliance for Fair Housing survey. The Regional Alliance is conducting the survey on behalf of all the participating cities in San Diego County, including the City of Vista. City officials are interested to learn about resident's experience with housing discrimination issues and concerns.
Residents are asked to fill out the following survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SDFairHousingEnglish). The survey is being conducted anonymously and residents are asked to be honest and detailed in their answers. The anonymous responses will be summarized and individual responses will not be reported.
Federal and State Fair Housing laws prohibit discrimination in all aspects of housing, including home sales, rentals, housing policies and financing. Each resident is entitled to equal access to housing opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability/medical conditions, familial status, marital status, age, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, source of income, or any other arbitrary reason.
