Post Date:01/19/2020 8:17 AM

The State of California's presidential primary election is on March 3, 2020. In the City of Vista, per City of Vista Municipal Code, signs are allowed 35 days prior to the election and are to be removed 5 days after the election (January 29, 2020 through March 8, 2020).

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters Office is recruiting poll workers, especially those who are bilingual, needed for the March 3 Presidential Primary Election. To become a poll worker, applicants must be a U.S citizen and registered to vote in California, or lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States. Poll workers must have transportation to their assigned polling location, access to the internet to take an online training and attend a two-hour class in person. Poll workers receive a stipend ranging from $100 to $175 depending on the assignment and those who are bilingual receive an additional $15 if they are assigned to provide language assistance to voters. Prospective poll workers can apply online at For more information, contact the County Registrar's Office at 858.565.5800 or by email at
