Rancho Minerva Safe Routes To School Corridor Study Has Been Postponed
The City of Vista is conducting a Safe Routes to School/Corridor study focusing on Vale Terrace Drive and Foothill Drive. The study will provide guidance for the priorities and actions needed to improve traffic safety and walkability around Rancho Minerva Middle School, located at 2245 Foothill Drive. The study will balance the mobility of various modes, such as automobile, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian connectivity throughout this area.
A second Community Workshop will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 6 pm in the Morris B. Vance Community Room at the Vista Civic Center. City staff and engineering consultant will summarize the results/findings of the first round of community meetings held in January 2020. We will also present an improvement concept aimed at addressing the issues identified in the previous community meetings with the overall goal of making Vale Terrace Drive and Foothill Drive a more safe and walkable area.
