Hunchback Opens August 15

The third show of Moonlight's summer season, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, opens August 15 and performs through September 1. Based on Victor Hugo's novel, the musical features the songs from the Disney animated movie plus new songs just for the stage.

Climate Action Plan Discussion, August 28

The City has completed extensive community outreach to gather input for the update to the City's initial 2012 Climate Action Plan. This plan will help Vista meet California's revised goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the anticipated effects of climate change. The City Council will discuss the community feedback and the CAP update at a regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 28 at 5:30 PM at the Vista Civic Center.

Take a Paranormal Tour of The Adobe

Go on a paranormal tour of the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe with the San Diego Paranormal Research Society on August 17 at 7:00 pm or 9:30 pm. Open to ages 18 and up, this hands-on tour explores the legend that some of the Adobe's earliest residents have never left.

Parents Night Out August 18

Parents can take the night off on August 18 when Vista Recreation offers Parents Night Out from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We'll keep the kids, ages five to 11, occupied with games and activities at the Jim Porter Recreation Center. Fee is just $10 per child.

Great American Songs at the Vista Library

It's time to Fall Back to Sports!
