Hours of Operation Reduced for City Hall
As a result of very challenging economic conditions, with the exception of public safety workers, City workers are taking a 5% reduction in pay and working hours.
As a result, effective July 5, 2011, the Civic Center and Public Works Yard will now be closed every Friday. Our hours of operation will be Monday-Thursday, 7:30a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The Vista Sheriffs and Fire Department will continue to operate 24/7.
The Vistix Ticket Office and the Recreation Office, both on the Alta Vista Drive side of the Civic Center, have different operating hours; Vistix is open Monday-Friday Noon to 5 pm and Recreation is open Monday -Thursday 9 am to 5 pm and on Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm.
