City of Vista Continues to Light Up the Night with Annual Fireworks Display

Vista – The City of Vista will host America’s birthday with food, fun and fireworks for the 42nd annual Red, White & Boom Celebration held in Brengle Terrace Park, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive.
Guests can enjoy live musical entertainment at the new state-of-the-art Moonlight Amphitheatre starting at 3:00 p.m. with the rock cover band, Two of Us Plus One. The All American Boy Choir will sing crowd favorites and patriotic anthems at 5:00 p.m. Attendees will rock the night away with the sounds of the Fabulous Ultratones starting at 7:30 p.m. and playing until the fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
The park opens at 7:00 a.m. Food and beverages will be available for sale in the park. A static display of vintage military equipment will also be available in the park. The annual Independence Day Celebration is free to the public. Parking is $10 per vehicle at the park. Parking and shuttle services are available at no charge from Vista High School, One Panther Way, Vista.
A fundraising gourmet BBQ, catered by Famous Dave’s, will precede the display in Brengle Terrace Park. Dinner includes: reserved VIP parking adjacent to the amphitheatre; a gourmet barbecue with beverages; and premium reserved seating in the Moonlight Amphitheatre for the fireworks display.
Individual dinner tickets are available for $65 per person or $500 per table of eight.

“This event is successful because of the support of local businesses and residents in the community,” says Bill Fortmueller, Assistant Director of Recreation and Community Services, “Everyone gets to enjoy great food, entertainment and of course, fireworks.”
The community is asked to keep household pets secured at home during the special event.
