Largest Aerial Fireworks Show in San Diego County to be Held in Vista

VISTA – The City of Vista’s Fourth of July Committee is planning to once again launch the largest aerial fireworks show in San Diego County. The show is set for Wednesday, July 4 at 9:00 p.m. in Vista’s Brengle Terrace Park, located at 1200 Vale Terrace Drive. The amazing fireworks display is made possible from contributed funds from the community and from corporate sponsors such as BioFilm, Inc., Wal*Mart #2094, DJO, LLC, Denso Wireless Systems America, Watkins Manufacturing, Boomers, Enviropel, EDCO Waste and Recycling Services, Michael Ehrenfeld Company, First National Bank, Nexcore Capital, Hennessey’s Restaurant, Cox Communications, Chick-Fil-A, Boomers, and Panda Express. Other key sponsors of the event include The Views and The North County Times. A total of at least $50,000 will be raised to fund the event.
A whole day of activities is planned within the park, including family activities, food and beverage booths, picnicking, children’s games, and a static display of vintage military equipment. Live musical entertainment, featuring “Dr. Feelgood and the Interns of Love,” is planned for the Moonlight Amphitheatre stage from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A gourmet barbeque dinner will be catered by Hennessey’s in Vista and served in the Moonlight Amphitheatre. Tickets are required in advance for the dinner, and are available by calling 760-726-1340 ext. 1574. There is a $5.00 charge for parking. A free shuttle is available from the Vista High School parking lot starting at 12:00 noon.
Additional donations and sponsors are currently being sought from the community to cover the cost of the July 4th Celebration.
