Preparing Citizens For Disaster
CERT Training: Please check back again for the next training dates
The Vista Fire Department is encouraging residents to enroll in the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course. Participants will learn how to increase their ability to safely help themselves, their family and neighbors during and after a disaster.
The free training will be held on eight consecutive Wednesdays at the Vista Civic Center.
The CERT course covers topics including emergency preparedness, fire safety, basic medical operations, wildland fire safety and disaster psychology and is taught by Vista Fire Department personnel.
