The City of Vista and the Vista Sheriffs' Department are working together to make the 2012 National Night Out the best yet!

On Tuesday, August 7, 2012 Vista will join communities across the nation in celebrating National Night Out. This annual event brings neighbors and communities together to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs.
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
