Local Artist Donates Time for Public Art
To boost neighborhood pride, a local artist has created the City's second longest mural on a graffiti-prone wall near her central Vista home.
Vista resident Alli Thoeni donated her time to paint a 250-foot-long, sun-drenched landscape on the curved, city-owned wall that fronts Palm Drive just north of Vista Village Drive. Her pastel painting depicts the sun moving through a one-day cycle, from sunrise to sunset.
