Summer Day Camp Registration - Saturday, April 24
Register your kids for summer camp on Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Brengle Terrace Rec Center, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive. Registering early ensures your child gets to enjoy the camp of their choice. In-person registration is required for summer camps. Late registration will be available at the Day Camp Office, Mon-Fri, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Speciality camps provide even the pickiest camper with something fun and exciting to do each week! All specialty camps are priced as half-day camps. You can add a full day of extended camp, 6:30am-6:00pm to your registration for an additional $59 resident/$70 non-resident. Extended camp includes lunch and snacks for camper!
TENNIS CAMP (3-8 grade) | Jun 21-Jun 25 and Jun 28-Jul 2 | 9:00am-12:00pm
This camp provides your child an opportunity to learn a sport, develop hand-eye coordination and build self confidence. Campers will learn basic to advanced skills in a fun and supportive environment. Please bring a racquet, can of new unused balls and get ready to serve up some Fun! Instructor: Heidi Clay
WONDERS! SCIENCE CAMP: NASA (1-8 grade) | Jun 21-Jun 25 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Join Wonders! Science and NASA as we explore the wonders of space and rocketry. Build and launch a two stage rocket that soars over 1,000 feet. Experiment with the actual conditions found on planets - liquid air and frozen gases. Make launchers that will soar over a building, fire land rockets and a 7-foot air rocket, eat astronaut treats and much more! Join in an exploration of the furthest reaches of the solar system and universe. Instructor: Don Miller
ROBOT RIDDLES CAMP (3-8 grade) | Jun 28-Jul 2 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Students enter the world of wonderland and explore creating, construction, and programming robots through fun riddles, rhymes, and races. Using robots as main characters, this fun adventure is documented with a story created, designed, and narrated by students. Children have fun with exciting scavenger hunts, programming puzzles, and bot brain teasers! Laptop computers will be provided. Instructor: Comp U Kids
CHEERLEADING CAMP (1-5 grade) | Jun 28-Jul 2 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Beginning cheerleading camp includes basic cheer moves, stretching, flexibility and jumps. Then progress to basic cheers and sideline dances. A parent performance will be at the end of the session. Instructor: Jacki DeArmis
ART STUDIO (3-8 grade) | Jul 5-Jul 9 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Children will develop an appreciation for watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic on canvas and sculpture, as well as learn basic technique in each medium. Recycled materials will be incorporated into many of our projects and we encourage children to think eco friendly. Collect and save plastic bags, soda can tops, plastic bottles, plastic lids, etc. An art exhibit with children creations will be held the last day of class.
DANCE CAMP (1-5 grade) | Jul 12-Jul 16 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Learn the fundamentals of hip hop, jazz, tap and cheer. Campers will learn proper dance and movement techniques. Each week will culminate in a showcase of talent. Instructor: Jackie Politano
ROBOTS CAMP: MACHINES OF THE FUTURE (1-5 grade) | Jul 19-Jul 23 | 9:00am-12:00pm
What is a robot? It is a machine that works for us. Spend this week exploring, designing, and building machines of the future We may stumble across a design that will change the world We’ll explore the world of tomorrow as we design, build and invent. Climb aboard the time machine! Explore art and history on a journey through time and around the world! Design prehistoric cave sculptures and tooled metal scarab beetles, experience Middle Ages and Renaissance illuminations and architecture, and create canvas paintings inspired by the Impressionists!
