OUT AND ABOUT VISTA TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM

Out & About Vista was formed to enhance the lives and promote independence and self-sufficiency among senior citizens of Vista by providing affordable and accessible transportation throughout the community. Out & About Vista is a fun and easy way to take care of everyday needs, such as shopping and banking, as well as to provide opportunities to socialize. Transportation is also provided to various special events and points of interest in Vista. Travel on the 14-passenger minibus is restricted to within Vista city limits and 48-hour advance notice is requested. The program also offers a mileage reimbursement program for volunteer drivers. Transportation is via private vehicle and travel may exceed city limits. Travel arrangements are made between client and driver.
