Climate Action Plan

The City of Vista is developing a Climate Action Plan to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Vista in order to comply with California State Assembly Bill 32 (Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006). The Climate Action Plan will identify the sources of GHG emissions in Vista and forecast how these emissions may change over time. It will also identify actions or measures the city, businesses, and residents can implement to achieve the state-recommended GHG emission reduction target of 15 percent below 2005 levels by the year 2020.
