Construction on Phase II of the Paseo Santa Fe Street Improvements is Set to Begin End of Year
Construction along S. Santa Fe Avenue will begin in early December to continue the City's revitalization plan to create a vibrant, walkable district in the Paseo Santa Fe district. Upgrading the sewer and water pipes, installing storm drain improvements, and placing the overhead power and cable lines underground will take place in the next 12 months. Then, a new roundabout will be constructed at Guajome and Terrace drives, which is scheduled to take 4-6 months to complete. The complete project is expected to take 24 months. The City and its contractors will strive to minimize noise and traffic impacts that may be associated with the project.
