Grand Opening of New Skateparks: September 16

Post Date:08/18/2017 11:37 AM

The City of Vista is holding an official grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the city's two new skate parks on N. Santa Fe Avenue on Saturday, September 16. The skate parks, which provide features for skaters of all ages - from novice to pro, were designed by nationally recognized Grindline Skateparks.

The Bowl Skate Park is approximately 10,500 square feet and the Street Skate Park occupies about 12,000 square feet. Both sites are open to "all wheels."

There will be raffles of skateboards and other items donated from local skate shops. The Tony Hawk Foundation will also be present and local pros will provide demonstrations.

A drone fly over of the skate parks is available on the City of Vista's Facebook and Instagram sites .
