MISSION INN TOUR, DINING, AND LIGHTS
For 25 years the Mission Inn’s Festival of Lights has been an awe-inspiring experience. With 200 animated figures including Dickens carolers, complemented by the world’s largest man-made mistletoe, and freshly fallen snow. You’ll enjoy a 75 minute docent led walking tour on the art, architecture, and history as well as view areas of the Inn that are inaccessible to the general public. Become familiar with the hotel’s history and lasting impacts on the Riverside community at the Mission Inn Museum, beginning with the Inn’s earliest history as an adobe boarding house in 1876 to the present. You will have the opportunity to do some holiday shopping at the museum store for handmade gifts, Mission Inn souvenirs, and books on the Mission Inn and local history. Enjoy an elaborate and memorable dinner at the Mission Inn Restaurant, which boosts its own impressive history. The day will crown with time to explore the Festival of Lights and be dazzled by the beauty.
